• Purpose

  Switch between the US, German, or Swedish keyboard layouts under X

• Installation

  tar -C / -xvzf xkeyboardlayouts.tar.gz

• Usage

  The scripts to switch between keyboards reside in /usr/local/bin/. You might execute the commands in an xterm, create menu items in your window manager, or map the commands to keys.

  US keyboard

  any of tastatur-en, tastatur-en_US, tastatur-us

  German keyboard

  tastatur-de

  Swedish keyboard
